GST Annual Returns due date extended – A much needed relief to all the Taxpayers

Just 23 days before the initial deadline of December 31, 2018 to file GSTR 9 ( GST Annual Return ), the government has announced an extension by three months i.e till March 31, 2019. This brings in much anticipated relief to all the tax payers who have been struggling to prepare their annual returns.
According to a press release by Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), it has been decided to extend the due date for filing Form GSTR-9, Form GSTR-9A and Form GSTR-9C till March 31, 2019.The Official Order is expected today. Please find the press release here: http://bit.ly/2L5AUwM
